Memberships and Patronage
Members
Are you ready to take things to the next level? Maybe you’ve visited Tullie a few times, wandered through the Roman Frontier Gallery, imagined yourself in some of the outfits in The Costume Collection or got lost in the night sky mural in the Wildlife Dome. We get it, we’ve all been there.
If you really, really like Tullie and want to show it, you can go the extra mile (well, £18 more a year) and become a Member. Membership also makes a great gift for a friend! We’ve been reviewing our Membership scheme and are happy to share some updated benefits below.
Look at these glorious Membership benefits:
- Two free hot drinks in our café each month – this can be any hot drink, so you can now enjoy a delicious hot chocolate on us!
- Invites to our buzzing exhibition preview nights
- 10% Discount in the Tullie Shop – including all temporary pop-up shops during partial opening.
- Discounted tickets to our events – make sure to check all ticket options to get the best tickets for you.

Patrons
As a Patron of Tullie, your support enriches Carlisle’s cultural life.
With your help, we are better able to care for the collections which form the basis of all we do, work towards getting more of them on display and give Carlisle and Cumbria a world-class cultural offer.
We want to be a museum for the 21st century and you can play an important part.
You can help us inspire lifelong learning, record and preserve the stories of the past, share the present and shape the future.
Patronage starts at £500 (£700 for Joint Patrons) per year, but we certainly won’t stop you if you feel like giving more. (Increased donations can be financial or in-kind contributions).
In exchange for your generosity, you’ll get:
- Unlimited admission for you and two family members.
- Exclusive access to rarely seen collections through a behind-the-scenes tour.
- Invitations to events, exhibition previews, and select engagements with the Senior Leadership Team, Trustees, partners, and lenders.
- Patron Newsletter with exclusive content.
- Complimentary copies of publications.
Corporate Patrons
To us, Corporate Patronage is a meaningful partnership. While providing vital support for the important work we do, you will also be aligning your organisation with one of the UK’s leading independent museums.
We believe the best opportunities are forged through conversation and connection. So, we are creating a collaborative and inclusive network of influential businesses, supporters and individual Patrons, all with a share belief in the power of culture to enrich people’s lives.
Your support means we will be able to continue to care for our nationally significant collection, host world-class exhibitions, and ensure that we continue to strive to break down barriers to arts and heritage through our learning and engagement programmes.
