Admission Tickets

All Adult Admissions Tickets cover the whole museum and special exhibition. Children go free*

Our Annual Pass gives you unlimited access to Tullie for 12 months, including all special exhibitions.

Young people under the age of 18 go free. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

*Additional charges may apply to certain special exhibitions.

Our current special exhibition is Winifred Nicholson: Cumbrian Rag Rugs, opening 5 April and running until 15 June 2025.

We have events and activities programmed throughout the year, including curator talks and tours, family craft and museum trails. These are included in the adult admission tickets.

As a charity, every entrance fee, donation, Membership and events ticket allows us to keep the curious informed and history preserved.

Dinosaur rEvolution 28 June - 14 September 2025

Get ready to come face to face with moving dinosaurs in the Tullie Exhibition Gallery! Coming this summer, the blockbuster Dinosaur rEvolution exhibition will bring animatronic dinosaurs to Carlisle. The show will also feature replica fossils, skeletons and detailed illustrations by acclaimed artist Luis V. Rey.

Dinosaur rEvolution will turn your idea of dinosaurs upside down. The exhibition draws upon recent research and presents dinosaurs with all the spikes, quills, horns, feathers and bright colours we now believe they had. No more drab dinosaurs, these exciting appearances will be presented through amazing visual representations of these incredible creatures.

Dinosaur rEvolution is a touring exhibition developed by Gondwana Studios.

Relaxed Opening

Need a little more time and space to explore the exhibition? Every Sunday of the exhibition run from 11am to 12pm we’ll be offering a relaxed hour with reduced capacity. If you’d like to know more about any sensory aspects of the exhibition, just give us a ring or send an email and we can advise.

Normal admission charges apply, and booking is recommended.

Kids' Dino Pass, for unlimited kids entry to the exhibition - £8.50

Adults require either a Day Ticket (£8.50) or a Tullie Annual Pass.

eXtinction Event - Thursday 28 August

6-9pm

Plates of pain, tail of doom. Let out your inner Stego-scream-us as a DEATH metal DJ provides the soundtrack for a visit to Dinosaur rEvolution after hours. Evening also features a band T-shirt printing workshop (puns not necessary but def encouraged) with Nothing Cult.

Death metal and t-shirt printing activities optional, you're more than welcome to just have a look around the exhibition.

Carlisle Gallery, Café Tullie and Shop also open.

For ages 16+.

Included with annual tickets/ £5 evening entry payable on arrival.
